Last week we were lucky enough to visit the Mast Brother’s chocolate making facility on 105A North 3rd Street in Brooklyn, NY. We had a chance to meet Rick and Michael Mast, and although they might seem somewhat intimidating with their towering Abe Lincoln-esque stature, they were extremely welcoming. Their chocolate shop/manufacturing facility is truly Brooklyn’s version of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, and one of the Mast Brother’s veteran employees, Arto, was kind enough to give us a full tour! The homemade chocolate making equipment was really impressive, and the final product is extraordinary. A few of the Mast crew even threw back a couple shots of ROOT, which paired perfectly with their artisan chocolates. We look forward to hanging out and drinking more ROOT with these guys in the near future.

We highly suggest you check out the chocolate shop, which is open on the weekends, or just swing by the Art in the Age store any day of the week and pick up one of their delicious creations.

Enjoy a few more pics of our visit below.
