Brooklyn’s Takka Takka, comprised of Gabe Levine (vox, keyboard, guitar), Rene Planchon (guitar), Drew Thurlow (guitar), Grady Jurrens (bass) and Conrad Doucette (drums) create inspired progressive pop music that is both emotional and psychological. It’s easy to call it “folk-inspired” or “art-rock”, but their sound transcends such labels, as it continues to mutate into something truly unique.
