AITA Store Behind The Scenes: The Wallpaper

If you’ve had a chance to visit the new Art In The Age store, there is no way to miss the salient, yet thoughtful wallpaper designs by Julianne Ahn. The “Hands” design, an all-over pattern of sign language hands in “A, I, T, A” positions, covers the lobby/foyer space. A trippy eyechart pattern covers the wall behind the library shelves. This one was created by using the letters “ARTINTHEAGEOFMECHANICALREPRODUCTION” in the form of an eyechart pyramid, and then using the triangular modules to form diamonds. The wallpaper was installed by Art In The Age Artist Isaac Lin and fellow Space 1026-er Jesse Olanday. I dropped by the store to bother/spy on the installation…
