“Art is an investment, you can live with” so you must have this photozine..or not?!
…so reads the tag-line on the Myspace page of Blemish Zine, a wee photo compilation I picked up at Needles & Pens in San Francisco a few weeks ago. The 4″ x 6″ plastic bag from Milan, Italy was full of sensitive, seemingly antiquated photos printed on very thin cloth. It also contained a printout of song lyrics, an explanation of the zine written in Spanish, and a card with needle and thread!
I’ve given away and traded some of the photo-cloths. The rest I am saving to use as patches in the near future, as my sewing machine was recently fixed!
