“Red Plastic Cups” was taken from a series of collaged panels of individually stenciled and collaged renderings of common objects. Trash, treasure, or memories of happier collegiate times? You decide. A private label tee custom dyed to a muted tone, entitled “Weimaraner.”

More about the artist:

Julianne Ahn was born after a misdiagnosis of Appendicitis. She received a B.F.A. in Textiles at Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and an M.F.A. at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. Her work is personified by the Eastern/Western rhetoric of time/space. She currently lives in Philadelphia and hopes one day to own a dog resembling the shape of a hoagie.
