Julianne Ahn – Blue Tape

This design was appropriated from an original five panel collage of stenciled motifs of blue tape collaged onto plywood inspired by Korean folk art screens from the Joseon period.
Color: Banana Smoothie (womens crew), Tired Sage (mens crew)

———————————————

Robin McDowell - Peacock

This design is inspired by an ornamental border from a decorative poster for Macmillan’s Illustrated Standard Novels from 1896. The text was eliminated and the body of the peacock has been hand-tooled to mirror the silhouette of the human body.
Color: Blood Orange (womens crew), Naked Boy (womens crew)

———————————————

Ben Woodward - Mustache

This new logo is a comical twist on the illustrative depiction of Walter Benjamin’s portrait. Nothing says Art in the Age more than a pair of glasses and a mustache!
Color: Papa Smurf (mens crew)

———————————————

Ben Woodward - Roller & Hammer

Revolutionary motifs loosely inspired the simple arrangement and colors of these common arts and craft tools.
Color: Cooked Spinach (mens crew)

———————————————

Courtney Dailey – Hybrid

The fantastical combination of a bunny and a lion, wrapping around the side of a deep V-neck provokes ones conventional approach to the natural form of everyday animals.
Color: 80s Prom Dress (womens v-neck)

———————————————

Beth Brandon – Fires

This original drawing comes from a series of artworks depicting the burning landscape and refer to historical climate change events, mass extinction of megafauna and recent new theories on how such things happened. Meticulously hand-drawn, printed with equal detail.
Color: Old Coffee (womens crew), Frenchiest Vanilla (womens tank)

———————————————

Jayson Musson – Chewy

A universal dork’s favorite character from Star Wars, Chewy comes to life from an original illustration which has been flocked for texture and fun.
Color: Old Coffee (mens crew)

AITA Vintage Eyechart

Inspired by a found artwork in a nearby vintage shop in Philadelphia, the 3-D interpretation updates the graphic while creating some visual vibrations!
Color: Naked Boy (mens crew)

AITA Walter Benjamin Logo

Half-toned portrait by Julie Ahn, matches the AITA tote bag! Bolshevik-style type by Robin McDowell, inspired by soviet propaganda posters from the early 1900s.
Color: Frenchiest Vanilla (womens v-neck)
