OPEN CALL - ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS WANTED
for an:

EDGAR ALLAN POE TELL-TALE HEART EXHIBITION
In Celebration of His 200th Birthday

LOOKING FOR…
Artwork inspired by Edgar Allan Poe or visual interpretation of his portrait and
Writers to submit their own chilling tale of obsession, murder and guilt

ARTWORK to be SENT electron ically in the follow ing format :
- Completed submission form with artist contact information
- High resolution .jpeg (at least 300 dpi) of piece (front-view)

WRITINGS to be SENT electron ically in the follow ing for mat :
- Completed submission form with artist contact information
-2,165 words (the number of words in Poe’s “Tell-Tale Heart”) or less in a Word document or pdf.

SEPTEMBER 14 All submissions due electronically to Julie.
SEPTEMBER 18 Accepted artists notified.
SEPTEMBER 28 All accepted artwork delivered to Art In The Age Storefront.
OCTOBER 7 Tell-Tale Heart Exhibition open at Art In The Age Gallery

Accepted artists will receive the following:
- Selected piece exhibited in-store from October 7-November 1, 2009
- Artwork and Writings featured on artintheage.com
- Opportunity to sell multiples of selected piece in store and on web

1 ARTIST AND 1 WRITER OF THE SELECTED WILL BE AWARDED THE FOLLOWING:
- 2 Free Featured Artist Tees
- 2 Tickets to “Haunted Poe” by Brat Productions

Also, Don’t miss the upcoming Art in the Age Event with Brat Productions:
Poe’s Ghosts: A Preview of HAUNTED POE @ Art in the Age
