Pittsburgh ROOTs For A Favorite Cocktail on November 24th
November 24th marks a big day for Pittsburgh spirit enthusiasts. Bossa Nova Lounge(123 7th St, Pittsburgh, PA) and Art in the Age will host a ROOT cocktail competition, offering complimentary hors d’oeuvres, $5 ROOT cocktails and raffle prizes.
Come see your favorite bartenders whip up exciting and unusual cocktails using ROOT, a rustic spirit inspired by pre-prohibition folk recipe. This is a chance to be among the first wave of Pittsburgh ROOT enthusiasts. Having already won over much of eastern PA, ROOT’s trek out west will surely be a success. Don’t miss the boat on the first truly American liqueur.
The competition will be held from 8-11 PM on the 24th, and bartenders from Embury, Firehouse, Willow, Braddock Streetside, The Sonoma Grille, Bossa Nova and more Pittsburgh hotspots will be showcasing their mixology skills. So come cheer on your local bartenders as they introduce new and creative ways for you to enjoy ROOT.
