Richard Colman Pays Homage To His Influences
Art in the Age artist Richard Coleman’s artwork was featured in the November issue of Juxtapoz Magazine. His work was shown alongside a slew of artists giving tribute to Robert Williams, a leader in the psychedelic art movement. Coleman reminisces on being in awe of Williams’ “expressiveness… and complexity of his compositions.” “Williams is the sort of artist that makes you want to be an artist.”
Richard Coleman’s background is in the graffiti and skateboarding worlds, where art is created for the moment and is often left to die. Luckily for us, Coleman has shifted to the more permanent realm of fine art.
