Delicious. The only appropriate word that comes to mind as I peruse the letter-laden pages of The Latest & Greatest News in Wood Type Land:
The one and only comprehensive compendium of collected, observed, used, and researched American-made wood type (previously a rare collector’s item via ebay or esoteric used booksellers) has been re-issued in affordable paperback by independent publisher Liber Apertus Press in Saratoga, CA.
While I certainly lament balking at the price tag on an original copy a few years back during thesis research, I jumped at the chance to have/hold/cherish a glossy new copy…
