ROOT and Gettysburg: PA’s Next Power Couple

Not since Philadelphia’s favorite Ben Franklin impersonator, Ralph Archibald, wed Betsy Ross impersonator Linda Wilde has the fair state of Pennsylvania witnessed the marriage of such a historical power couple.

That’s right! ROOT is now available at Gettysburg’s historic Dobbin House Tavern.

Four score and seven years before the Battle of Gettysburg, Reverend Alexander Dobbin built a fine stone home that has literally stood the test of time. Situated just a few hundred paces from the spot where Lincoln delivered his famed Gettysburg Address, the historic Pennsylvania gem is now more than two hundred years old and showing no signs of slowing.

There’s never been a better time to take a little road trip and imbibe some fine American history.
