ROOT Recipe: New Hampshire Maple Toddy

Our dear Robin all the way up in New Hamphire comes up with some great ROOT recipes. While we are having mild Philadelphia days, hers are dropping into the 40′s already. “Wool sweaters, all the way.”  So this version of the hot toddy is coming to you a little early but is perfect once the chills start to hit.  Robin enjoys this “little WARM ROOT recipe on chilly New England nights (or hungover New England mornings…)”

Sort of a hot toddy variation, but with NH Maple Syrup! Super simple, too.

How To:

New Hampshire Maple Toddy

1 tblsp. New Hampshire Grade A Amber Maple Syrup
6 oz. hot, not boiling water (Farm tap water preferred, of course!)
2 oz. ROOT

Pour maple syrup and ROOT into bottom of a mug.
Slowly pour hot water over the syrup, while stirring vigorously to dissolve.
