ROOT and Rum Drinks from Adam Kanter of Rum Bar
Adam Kanter, the owner and Rum Sommelier at Rum Bar, has created carefully designed cocktail that includes creations that are sweet and tart or daring and spicy. No matter what you palate craves he has an answer for you - and be sure it will probably include rum and fresh ingredients.

ROOT Daiquiri
Invention from the early 1900’s in cuba by an American Miner. This is not your slushy red mess you are used to. It is the original style daiquiri
.5oz ROOT
1.5oz. Goslings (or other black rum)
1 oz fresh lime juice
1oz. simple syrup
8 drops orange juice
Combine all ingredients over ice in shaker. Shake. Strain into glass, served straightly chilled. Garnish with a lime wheel.
ROOT Float
Play on root beer float we know and love from childhood.
1.5oz ROOT
1.5oz Cruzan rum cream (or other light rum cream)
1.5 cola
Combine ingredients over ice in shake. Make sure you have a tight seal and shake. Strain into glass. Served straightly chilled.
Root Mango Lassi
A take on an Indian drink - without the yogurt/substituting rum cream.
1.5oz Root
1oz el dorado rum cream
4oz Mango nectar
.5oz cardamom syrup
Combine ingredients over ice in shake. Strain and serve over fresh ice. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
