Early to bed, early to rise - All printers go to heaven.
The Space 1026 studios seem sunny at first.
But then there is...(dun dun dun)
There is no need to get emulsion all over everything. Be neat and clean.
Some body (read: screen) must have gotten seriously burned in this room. Apparently, the studio space used to be a bank, and this room was the old walk-in safe.
As the emulsion drips down the walls, it reaches the grate to the cellar...
Where the bad printmakers end up.
I will conclude this tour on a more buoyant note, with a snapshot of a special find in the studio of Thom Lessner, a Philadelphia artist whose shirt design will soon be featured in Art in the Age's new Spring line.
