The First Fruits at The Farm: “Stay Gold, Berry-Joy, Stay Gold”

New Hampshire’s first fruit is red
Her tastiest hue, it’s said.

Her early leaves are berries;
One needs a bucket to carry

Then pink subsides to ruby.
And fingers rose to duty,

So we pick ’til end of day.
Every fruit must stay.
