The Museum of Vintage Walkmans

Hello fellow electronic nerds! If you have not yet visited The Museum of Vintage Walkmans, then what are you waiting for?? This is the place for you. It’s an awesome mix of old-school Walkman product photos from various brands such as Toshiba, Sony, Aiwa and JVC. There are some cool vintage ads on the site as well.

Sure, they are obsolete, but they were pieces of amazing electronic gadgetry in their day…and some, especially the hardcore collectors, even consider them to be art. Here’s a sampling:

Although this things has no usefulness now a days, but they were one of the attractive things in their age. I also had a Sony walkman and it was my best companion in those days. I still remember it.

boy, those were the days… walkman might be limited, but it shows “more” life than iPod. I mean, you're flipping the tape and you carry a lot of tapes – those tapes were your favorite albums. In iPod you got thousands of albums and you're not even listening to them. 80s were the best!
