VIDEO: Reverend Michael Alan makes SNAP Haymakers Punch
The Reverend Michael Alan is the exclusive illustrator behind all of the Art in the Age SNAP artwork, and is also an accomplished mixologist. He has created a variety of cocktail recipes inspired by the Pennsylvania Dutch roots of AITA SNAP, including his most recent interpretation of Haymakers Punch.

“Haymaker’s Punch” or “Switchel” dates back to the 1800s, when Pennsylvania farmers quenched their thirst after a long day of late summer haying by drinking a simple mixture of vinegar, molasses, water, and a dash of ground ginger root. Switchel pairs naturally with the fresh and spicy notes of our newest spirit, SNAP as a restorative reward at day’s end. After 200 years, the wisdom and tradition behind this historic thirst-aid lives on through the good Reverend’s delicious creation.
Grab a mason jar and the following ingredients, and follow along with the Reverend.
AITA SNAP
Apple Cider Vinegar
Local Honey
Fresh Ginger
Sparkling/Still Water
One Lemon
