First Friday with The Reverend Michael Alan
This past Friday, Art in the Age held an opening reception for the Reverend Michael Alan and his September exhibition, NIX BESSER (none better). For the month of September, The Reverend will be exhibiting a series of thirteen illustrated heirloom cookie recipes, displayed within a traditional country kitchen setting. Original illustrations created by The Reverend for the SNAP bottle and label are also on display at the store.
For the opening event, The Reverend and friends baked an assortment of cookies based on the recipes from his illustrations, which were a huge hit and went fast. For those of you who weren’t able to attend the opening, stop by the Art in the Age store this month to see The Reverend’s illustrations, and maybe pick up one of his beautiful recipes to hang in your own kitchen.
