Happy Halloween

Posted by:Dan on October 31st, 2012

The tradition of pumpkin carving originated in Ireland, where townsfolk would carve turnips or potatoes and place glowing coals or small candles inside. The carved root vegetables were placed outside their homes on All Hallow’s Eve to ward off evil spirits.

When Irish Immigrants came to America, they quickly discovered that Jack O’Lanterns were much easier to hollow out. This unique tradition quickly spread throughout North America and elsewhere.

Hope everyone has a happy Halloween!  Can’t wait to hear what sinister AITA cocktails you mixed up.

Post your favorite Halloween cocktail photos!
