Hay season/field restoration 2010 is drawing to a close! The results from Year One of restoration efforts are in: All of the fields responded well to treatments of calcium lime, sulfate of potash, and bone char. I will miss the smell of freshly cut hay drying in the barn, but am excited to report that the fields are healthy and productive!
