Luau Libations: A Tiki Cocktail Class
June 7th 6-8pm
We're kicking off June with a special Tiki cocktail class. Mix up your own tropical oasis with the next Art In The Age Cocktail 101 class. This time we’re covering Tiki Essentials! Learn about where the Tiki cocktail trend came from and where it is headed, taste some Tiki classics, and then work alongside our cocktail specialists to create your own original cocktail using fresh juices, tropical ingredients, and lots and lots of rum.
$40 includes admission, sampling, instruction, workshop and 2 cocktails. Click here or scroll down to purchase tickets.
Our Cocktail 101 courses are a series of workshops designed for the beginner home bartender — no experience necessary. Learn how to make classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned, answer the age-old question of when to shake and when to stir, and gain an understanding of basic spirit and cocktails categories like manhattans, tiki cocktails and juleps. Each workshop is roughly 90 minutes long and includes instruction/demonstrations, two cocktails, recipes to help you recreate them at home, plus some assorted take-home goodies.
Cocktail 101 classes are led by Lee Noble, our cocktail specialist. Lee uses his experience in the industry to do bartender training and consults on the cocktail menu development with our staff. In addition to professional certifications in beer and wine, Lee has participated both stateside and abroad in bartending and cocktail competitions.
