MP3 PICK: Soft Rocks – "Slowdown"
Instead of throwing up a predictable “indie” tune, I’d thought I post something a little different this week. This one comes from the mysterious Brighton UK-based DJ collective known as Soft Rocks. This B-Side from their 2008 12″ Umut 2000 lives in some strange world where CRAZY Spanish guitars, Turkish rhythms and late 70s Disco grooves live UNPREDICTABLY and peacefully amongst each other. Pretty awesome stuff…
