WHAT: In celebration of New York Gallery Week, PHAIDON | STORE hosts a cocktail reception for the artists and galleries featured in Creamier: Contemporary Art in Culture, a survey of 100 contemporary artists selected by 10 international curators with cocktails provided by Root & Snap.
WHO: The artists and galleries featured in Creamier: Contemporary Art in Culture and the participating galleries of New York Gallery Week, featuring artists Tom Burr, Alejandro Cesarco, Leslie Hewitt, Jamie Isenstein, Ignacio Lang, Aida Ruilova, Fia-Stina Sandlund and Ron Terada.
WHY: This event will be held at the launch of New York Gallery Week (NYGW).
ABOUT NEW YORK GALLERY WEEK 2011: New York Gallery Week seeks to reinforce the relationship between its participants and non-for-profit exhibition spaces. The goal of NYGW is to strengthen the synergy between artists, galleries and public institutions and to focus public attention on the city’s long-standing exceptional gallery programming.
