Alfa’s offering a five-course tasting menu, with every dish incorporating locally developed Root liqueur, each paired with a different handcrafted Root signature cocktail, all for a measly $35. Seared scallop w/ black truffle foam’s served with the Root/Punt e Mes-infused Dr. Maloney’s Restorative Elixir; Root-brined pork loin’s washed down with 100-proof Applejack-fueled Dr. Hadley’s Root Restorative; and grilled venison in huckleberry reduction’s completed by the Root/Buffalo Trace combo dubbed Pennsyltucky Smash — hopefully not referring to the I-80 incident responsible for your venison.
