La Colombe places new exhibit at Art in the Age
As a huge coffee fanatic, any type of event that is enforced by a cup of java, I am all about it. This month at Art in the Age, the coffee brewery, La Colombe, has an exhibit on display in the gallery. La Colombe is famous for its culinary coffee, brewed to perfection. The founders, Todd Carmichael and Jean Philippe are always making sure that their customers are leaving refreshed from their local shop outside of Rittenhouse.
The title of the gallery “Un Putain de bon Café” highlights landmark changes in the coffee roasting process. Carmichael and Philippe also have on display in the exhibit their current farming projects from around the globe. The day of the opening reception, La Colombe’s duo was in Haiti planting in the forest. They were able to make a flight back in time for the reception. Now that is some dedication, think of how amazing your cup of coffee would be from their shop.
