$20 nets you BBQ offerings from ten local professional grillmeisters: El Camino Real, Q BBQ, Darling’s, and last year’s champ, Mermaid BBQ, as well as ten amateur contenders, plus comp’d samples of Stoudts brews and Root cocktails (or get a “bottomless cup” for $10). Vying for crowns in categories from ribs to brisket to “Anything Goes”, dishes will be judged based on taste, tenderness, and appearance — so yeah, don’t enter yourself.
