Art In The Age Presents Sustaining Spring, An Environment-Themed Art Exhibition Opening Friday, May 6
Opening tomorrow, May 6, for First Friday, with an open-to-the-public reception from 6-8 p.m., Art in the Age’s latest group exhibition Sustaining Spring features an eclectic mix of locally crafted, environmentally inspired works on display at the Old City gallery through May 29.
The featured works, all centered around the environment, are created by Philadelphian artists and craftspeople.
Highlights include John Slaby’s painted landscapes that invite viewers to witness technology converging with the natural world, and Heather Ossandon’s ceramics ranging from planters to cordial sets, plus environmentally responsible designs created by award-winning architecture firm Jibe Design.
