Preston Eckman’s been in the bartending biz and service industry for as long as he can remember. It was first in the kitchen that he found his love of experimenting with flavor combinations. After years of work, managing four bars and opening three as a manager Preston has learned – he has no plans to stop anytime soon. In fact, he wants to keep mixing drinks for the rest of his life.
He’s worked all over the country and in all different sorts of restaurants—from traditional American and tapas/cocktail lounges to fine French and sushi bars. He always works closely with the chefs and kitchen staff to create delicious and fun drinks that pair well with the menu.
“The most rewarding aspect of what I do,” said Preston, “is seeing the sparkle in the eye of someone who really enjoys the cocktail I made for them.”
