ROOT Flip with Stout
The nuttiness of the apple jack mixes well with the herbs and sweetness of the ROOT. This recipe has enough kick that you know you’re having a drink, AND keeps true to the local flavor - Laird’s apple brandy is from New Jersey!
1 whole egg
1 1/2 oz. Laird’s Apple Brandy
1 oz. ROOT
1/2 oz. lemon juice
2 tsp. simple syrup
4-5 oz. Sly Fox O’Reilly’s Dry Stout
Combine ingredients over ice. Shake vigorously for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Pour into highball or collins glass. Top with stout (Sly Fox O’Reilly’s Dry Stout)
