ROOT At Two PA Whiskey Fests
Two Pennsylvania cities are hosting whiskey festivals this week. But don’t let name fool you; rum, tequila, vodka, gin and liqueurs will be available along with scotch, bourbon, and single-malts.
On Thursday, November 12 the Union League of Philadelphia will host the 2009 Philadelphia Whiskey Festival. Master distillers and industry representatives will be present to answer any questions patrons may have on their drinks of choice.
The next day (November 13) across the state, Pittsburgh’s 3rd annual Whiskey and Fine Spirits Festival will aim to educate patrons on tasting techniques and the best ways to enjoy various spirits. Located at Heinz field, the festival offers information on various makers and what makes each spirit unique, as well as special guests and events.
As these are not strictly whiskey events, Philadelphia’s own ROOT liqueur will be represented in its hometown as well as the Steel City. A perfect opportunity awaits to try ROOT and so many other products made by the finest distillers from around the world.
Hope to see you all there!
