ROOT Recipe of the Week: ROOT Cholado from Positano Coast

A cholado is a common beverage from Columbia. It generally made of crushed ice, fruit and/or fruit syrup, sweetened condensed milk, and is sometimes topped with whipped cream. Israel & Andre over at Positano Coast have made us their version of a cholado using fresh fruit, agave nectar, our favorite gin, Hendricks and of course ROOT! Watch the video demonstration, turn on your blender and make this tasty drink at home.

8 blackberries
8 blueberries
1/2 lime
3/4 agave nectar
1 1/2 oz. ROOT
2 oz. Hendrick’s Gin

Blend all ingredients with 2 1/2 scoops of ice. Garnish with purple orchid.

The Arctic style of carhartt coats has a three piece hood that is also quilt lined for warmth. It has a drawstring attached to it to give you a tight fit against the wind. If you prefer to wear another hat underneath, you can adjust the size of the hood to accommodate the extra layers and still have enough room to move.
