Recipe VIDEO: The ROOT Beer Float Cake
Cocktail enthusiasts, Kim and Jake of Kim & Jake’s Cakes in Boulder, CO have been big fans of ROOT for sometime. It was when the fun loving couple began looking for a way to combine two of their favorite things– drinking and baking– they started experimenting with creations like the ROOT Beer Float Cake.
Jake, a retired pro-cyclist from a “cake-centric” family, creates all of the flavor profiles and develops the recipes for each of the bakery’s cakes– like the duo’s renown carrot cake recently featured in Bon Appetit Magazine.
