M Tree Bark by Andrea Myers

Tree bark originated as a drawing by an artist known for her use of mixed media to investigate planar vs. non-planar materializations. Andrea’s penchant for fluctuating the space between printmaking and sculpture is evident in the linear construction of her drawings as complex motifs. A metallic gold layer is added to offset the natural composition of drawn bark.
