About Dear Creatures Fall Collection:
The Fall 2008 Collection called for classic simplicity for the cut-and-sew garments with hidden details. The graphic design concept was inspired by a broad range of mid-century artists and designers, from the artwork of Mary Blair, best known for her role in designing “It’s a Small World” for Walt Disney, as well as mid-century textile and folk art designer Alexander Girard who is best known for his work at Herman Miller in the 50’s and 60’s. Inspiration also drew from Scandinavian folk art.
