Art in the Age presents a group show this coming Friday in celebration of Edgar Allan Poe’s 200th birthday.This exhibition brings together selected artwork inspired by Poe’s famous literary works such as “The Raven,” “The Pit and the Pendulum” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Participating artists were chosen based on their creative interpretations of Poe’s portrait and their ability to render his sense of the macabre in various mediums.
Participating artists are as follows: Alex Eckman-Lawn, Amanda Bowers, Chelsea Thoumsin, Danielle Charette, G. Jenson, Kathleen Cunningham, Matt Slaybaugh, Michele Melcher, Mike Ryan, Nick Kulp, Reverend Michael Alan, Robert Kraiza, and Zoe Friedman.
